Here is one kind, brave soul... lol An American living in Istanbul. Interestingly enough, I have seen several videos made by Americans living in Türkiye. The ones spending American dollars are having a blast of course,lol. I'm used to Europeans, esp. Brits and Germans, but it's interesting to see Americans spending years over here.

Not a fan of smoking, but at least it's banned indoors. Also, the smoking rate is about 28% according to the 2019 Eurostat survey, very similar to Serbia and Bulgaria.

Turkey certainly has an abundance of coastal towns and ancient ruins, which I would really love to see someday, especially Ephesus and Laodicea
